Privacy Policy

01

Scope and Overview

Hue builds tools for evaluating and measuring AI systems and agentic workflows. This Privacy Policy explains how Hue (“Hue,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit hue.run, communicate with us, or use our products and services (collectively, the “Services”).

This policy applies to personal information that Hue processes for its own purposes. When Hue processes information on behalf of an enterprise customer, that processing is governed by the applicable customer agreement, and the customer is responsible for its own privacy notices and instructions.

02

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services. It may include:

  • Contact and account information. Your name, work email address, organization, job title, account credentials, and other information you provide when you request information, create an account, or communicate with us.

  • Commercial and transaction information. Billing details, subscription or purchase records, and related business information. Payment card information may be processed directly by our payment providers rather than stored by Hue.

  • Customer content and evaluation data. Prompts, outputs, workflow materials, datasets, files, instructions, test cases, evaluation results, feedback, and other content submitted to or generated through the Services. This content may include personal information depending on what you or your organization provide.

  • Device, usage, and log information. Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of access, feature usage, diagnostic information, and similar technical data.

  • Information from third parties. Information from service providers, integrations you enable, business partners, public sources, or your organization’s administrators, where permitted by law.

If you submit information about another person or connect a third-party service, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority and permissions needed to do so.

03

How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.

  • Create and administer accounts, process transactions, and provide customer support.

  • Run evaluations, generate results, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and fulfill customer instructions under applicable agreements.

  • Respond to inquiries and send service, security, administrative, or marketing communications, subject to your choices.

  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our agreements or policies.

  • Comply with law, enforce our rights, resolve disputes, and protect Hue, our customers, users, and others.

04

Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Hue relies on one or more of the following:

  • Performance of a contract or steps requested before entering into a contract.

  • Our legitimate interests, such as operating, securing, improving, and communicating about the Services, balanced against your rights and interests.

  • Your consent, where we ask for it, which you may withdraw at any time.

  • Compliance with legal obligations and protection of vital or public interests where applicable.

05

How We Share Information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers and subprocessors. Vendors that help us provide hosting, infrastructure, security, analytics, communications, support, payment processing, and other business functions.

  • Your organization. If you use the Services through an employer or other organization, its authorized administrators may manage your account and access information associated with the organization’s workspace.

  • Third-party integrations. Services you choose to connect or direct us to interact with. Those third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

  • Corporate transactions. Parties involved in a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

  • Legal, safety, and rights. Authorities or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, respond to valid process, prevent harm, investigate misconduct, or protect rights, property, and safety.

  • With your direction or consent. Other recipients when you ask us to share information or otherwise authorize the disclosure.

Hue does not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not use Customer Content to serve third-party advertising.

06

06

Customer Content and Enterprise Accounts

Enterprise customers may submit Customer Content to create evaluation environments, test AI systems, and measure workflows. Hue processes Customer Content to provide, maintain, secure, and support the Services and as otherwise permitted by the applicable customer agreement or the customer’s instructions.

The enterprise customer determines what Customer Content is submitted and is responsible for establishing an appropriate legal basis, providing required notices, and responding to requests relating to information it controls. If your account is associated with an organization, contact that organization first about its data practices and your account.

07

07

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with customer agreements and legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our systems and users.

Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of the information, the context in which it was collected, contractual commitments, available controls, and applicable law. Information may remain in secure backups for a limited period after deletion and may be retained longer where required or permitted by law.

08

08

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards are selected with regard to the nature of the information and the risks of processing.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

09

09

International Data Transfers

Hue and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request access to or information about the personal information we process about you.

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.

  • Request deletion of personal information.

To submit a request, contact team@hue.run. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

If Hue processes your information on behalf of an enterprise customer, please direct your request to that customer. We will assist the customer as required by applicable law and our agreement.
